Critical skills employment permit and visa - Family travel from day 1

I need to ask if am given a critical skills permit from employer from Ireland. I want to move on job with my family, is this possible? Or I need to travel alone and apply for my family after 3 or 6 months? Is there a way we can apply any join visa for family/spouse with my critical skills from day 1 and travel together? Or just I will have to travel and then apply for family after 3 to 6 months working there?
