Council House while on ILR

Asking for a friend. Please advise

My friend is on ILR, can she apply for council house ?

She has already applied ILR for her husband and daughter and decision is still pending.. will it effect ?

She also have two more kids who have british passport and born in UK…

So only clarification is required l.. if she apply council house will it affect the ILR application which was applied 3 weeks ago for her husband and daughter who is 12 years Old

I am sorry but your reply has made me more confuse

I appreciate that you have mentioned the links but it has put me in more doubt if she can really apply council house while she is on ILR and other members of family has recently applied ILR and decision is pending

Did you read the quote above from page 10 from the Home office staff guidance and the few lines on page 20? It's very clearly written and answers your question.

It's better than taking the work of strangers on the internet because it's the visa holders who are the ones that have to make sure they do not take what they are not allowed.
