Cover Letter

Post by Remo88 » Thu Apr 01, 2021 9:57 am

Good Morning all.

i am applying for citizen and i need to write a short cover letter as, i am not sure regarding a few working dates back in 2012/2013. Any example to see or follow would be great!

Also, there is a mistake from HMRC, stating on my p45 History i was working on two jobs for a couple of weeks. But that is not true. Should i leave the dates as they are or should i amend it saying i have finished a day before starting the new job?
Is it important to leave the dates as per HMRC letter in case they pick on it?

suggestions! :D

Thank you in advance.

No need to make it complicated.
Also declare the exact dates. As long you did not work illegally dates are not important.

At the end of the online form - additional notes simply state:

Note: The dates are estimates as I can not recall the exact dates.
Simple.

Re: Cover Letter and documents uploading

Post by Remo88 » Thu Apr 08, 2021 11:26 am

Thank you very much for your help.

I am now uploading all the documents and I have paid for document checking.

In the mandatory section, is hmrc 5year history, all passport pages scanned enough?

Also, a few people suggesting to out no documents in the optional section. I did anyway just in case is that OK? What they need if asking for proof of business?

Thank you

Thank you very much.
I don't see the section for referees?
Also, every documenti I will provide, should it be for the 5 years? Or can just cover 1year as proof?
Thank you

It doesn't matter where you upload the referee forms. Just make sure they are uploaded.

You need evidence of Residence for 5 years.

That is why there is a category named “other.”

What do you mean authorisation? If you mean to ask which documents go in proof of application, it explicitly states in small print.

I Couldn't understand what they mean as per the Cover letter and Authorisation.

As per the access UK checklist, they mean the dates where I have been out of the country for the last 5 years?

Thank you

Re: change of address on application in course

Post by Remo88 » Mon Jul 26, 2021 11:47 am

Good afternoon,

I have applied for a citizen back in April this year and I am still waiting for confirmation.
In the meantime I have changed the address, is there any way to change it while the application is in the process?
If yes, how?

Thank you in advance,
Remo.
