FLR (M) 'submitted' / 'application date' definition

Post by SahaBhai » Tue Jul 27, 2021 1:44 pm

Hello everyone, could anyone please help me with the below query.

My current spouse visa extension is expiring tomorrow 28/07/2021. I have paid for my FLR(M) on 15/06/2021 and my Biometric was on 12/07/2021, I have submitted my final set of document on the same day.

I came to know I should apply for my extension only 28 days in advance so I am concern which date will be considered as my application date, the day I paid for my application or the biometric day the day I uploaded my final set of document as advised by Sopra Steria representative. I was however granted the first spouse visa on 01/06/2016 so in that respect I have applied for FLR(M) after 5 years if they consider my payment date as my date of application.

Any advise or suggestion would be much appreciated.

Regards
Saha

Date of application is the date you submit and pay online.

You are fine, don't stress.

Thank you CR001 for your prompt reply.
If my payment date is considered as date of application than I am in breach right? as it was 45 day ago I applied instead of last 28 days of expiry of current visa that one should apply?

Thanks
Saha

Ok.

Are you on the 5 or 10-year route to ILR?

Has there been an outcome to your June application?
