Can you please help understand Section 3c leave

I am on Tier 2 ICT and switching into Skilled Worker Visa through another company. Now my Tier 2 ICT is towards its expiry. The New company will file my Visa before current ICT Visa Expires.

Now under this situation can I serve notice period for my existing employer even though my ICT expires.
Also what will they need to validate I can still work for them even after my Visa has expired?

I am also in the same situation. My current ICT visa is going to expire on 14th Aug 2021 and I also got my new Skilled worker Visa with Cos start date as 15th Aug 2021. In this case can i serve notice period with existing employer till 14th Aug 2021
