Post by mfar » Sun Aug 01, 2021 10:16 am

Hi guys
The following questions muat have been asked before
My wife completed 10 years in UK
I am going to apply for ILR which form should I use Set O or set M and is there any English language requirement as I have her UKNARIC confirmation that her degree is equivalent to master in UK
Does she still need to give B1 or whatever the English language requirement

Form SET LR if she is applying for ILR based in 10 years long residence provided she meets all of the mandatory requirements.

Form SET M and Set O are for 5 year route ILR on the relevant visas.

Naric is fine if it meets the requirements.

She needs liuk too.

Life in the UK test. You should know this as you have also followed an immigration journey.

ILR for wife

Post by mfar » Mon Jan 31, 2022 11:05 pm

Hi guys
Just a quick question I need to apply for my wife's ILR as soon as on Long residency 10 year route
As she is already due for last six months but couldn't do due to lack of time
My questions are
1) she is master from back home and we have UK NARIC since 2017
Do we have to have a new one or shall I use the same 2017 one
2)do I have to show any bank statement etc ?
Looking forward your reply
And can I have a proper link for the form is it Set ILR(LR) ?
Thanks

Sorry I don't get your answer
You meant that proof of address is the requirements of FLR M not ILR LR
thanks

None of these documents are required for ilr based on long residence, which is the route your wife is applying for ilr.

For ILR-LR cohabitation documents not required as she qualifies in her own right.

This has now been repeated several times. The long residence has nothing to do with your partner or relationship. You will apply on your OWN and you must qualify on your OWN. No document needed regarding your relationship, etc

You are not the one who decides if the application is straightforward or otherwise. UKVI got criteria for evaluating applications.
Exercise some patience and hope for the best, the outcome may be faster than you are being made to feel right now.

It is not up to you to determine if an application is straightforward or not. This is up to the UKVI. Wait to hear back
