How to check if you are eligible for british citizenship?

Hey guys,
I have PR as a family member of EU national, Its been now more then one year of PR, I have some history of over stay as well which I think is wrong, as HO never replied to my visa application,.
In this case I would like to ask if there is way to check when you are eligible for british citizenship, without spending fees.

No,there is no way to check before applying.

You simply need to meet all the requirements.

What are the circumstances of the overstay?
Char (CR001 not Casa)

I applied for student visa home office didn't reply for that visa because of toiec, after that I got married with an EU citizen, and got RC , but later I applied for ILR and was refused for over staying my visa. I was also told to report every week at detention center which I didn't, this was before getting EU RC.
Later I got PR successfully.
