UK Visit Visa - VFS New Delhi - Documents Scan upload

Hi All,

I have an urgent query.

I have completed UK Visitor visa application for my parents who are based in New Delhi.

After completing the application the gov website directed me to VFS Global website where I booked an appointment and uploaded all the documents. This is mentioned on VFS Global website as well.

However I checked with few friends and they are strongly recommend me the parents to carry all hard copy of documents. This does not make sense to me as VFS Global clearly says that an applicant can upload documents on their own.

Please share your experience (good or bad) on this so I get confidence that I am doing the right thing here.

My parents appointment is 12 Aug, Thursday so I will appreciate quick responses.

how did your experience go bro? Did you have to take the docs with you?

no docs required. just the appointment letter, doc checklist and thats it. make sure all required docs are uploaded as VFS will check them. if there are missing docs then you will have to upload them there or you will lose your appointment and redo it again.
