For GTV dependent application, is it possible to intentionally request a shorter visa period than the main GTV expiry?

Post by krishnakumarg » Fri Aug 20, 2021 10:16 am

My GTV visa is valid until Sep 04, 2023. I am planning to switch my wife into the GTV dependent visa status from within the UK.

However, I'd like to intentionally opt for (or request/choose) a lower validity period (than my GTV expiry date of 04 Sep 2023) for her GTV dependent visa/BRP.

is this possible? If so, how?

No you can't choose a length of validity that suits you.

Again, can you keep your gtv dependent questions in your existing topic please!!!
