Hi,
Could anyone please tell me is it easy to sponsor existing employee a SW visa? I am on PBS dependant visa at the moment. ive been in the Uk for 7 years.
There were lot of rules for sponsoring existing employee before like how did you find person and what are the reasons for sponsoring etc. I know rules have been changed recently but unsure about these. My role is in the Shortage occupation list.
Could someone please help.
Thanks
Raj

Please help.
Thanks.

There shouldn't be any problems if your employer is a registered sponsor and assigns a CoS to you and you satisfy the requirements:

Thanks manci for the quick response.
Do they have to provide defined cos or undefined one?
Also can you please tell me can I switch within the country. I know previously PBS dependant cannot switch within the UK?

undefined as you will be applying from the UK. Your sponsor should know that and they need to have an undefined CoS allocation available.

Thanks again manci for the quick response.
1. Can you please tell me, Will there be any issues for sponsoring existing employee? I joined in the company 4 years back. So do they have to show how they recruited me and all other stuff for selecting me in the recruiting process?
2. Approximately 3 years back I applied for UK-NARIC and can I use that to prove my English language?
3. If my sponsor doesn’t have any undefined cos, how long will it take to get one? Is there any priority service in this one?
Thanks.

Statements issued by UK NARIC remain valid

The standard processing time for additional undefined CoS allocations can be up to 18 weeks but there is a priority service that costs £200 and offers 5 working day processing.

Any company can sponsor you if they have a licence but you must normally be employed by the sponsoring company .

Thanks for the response again Manci.
So is it not possible to to employ people by two companies under one license if they have any business arrangements or something else?
Thanks.

Sorry about that manci. Let me try explaining.
Employer A has license but not the employer B. They both are partners. So here can employer B sponsor me using employer A license ? Is it possible to do that? Is that option available at all to use their partner business license? Does HO give permission for these kind of things?
Thanks.

Not sure what you mean by company A and B being "partners".
What you suggest would only be possible if company B was a branch of company A and company A's licence covered the head office and all UK branches

It’s not exactly the other branch of the employer A. But they do have some agreements and few of the directors are also same.
