Passport renewal during stamp 4 eufam

Hi ,
My wife indian passport is renewing now and her Withdrawal Agreement IRP Card ( stamp 4 eufam) is going to expire in April 2022.
what we need to do after renewing her passport ?
Do they change her IRP card ?

This means if I go to the garda registration do they update the IRP with new expiry? Or just continue with the first one? Bit confused

Your new IRP card will have the expiry date of your EUFAM permission so for example EUFAM permission expires in May 2022, your new IRP card will also have May 2022 expiry date.

If your IRP card expired in May 2022, you should renew your card in April 2022. You need to book an appointment with your local Garda station or GNIB office to renew it since the passport has been changed, but you only do this in April 2022.
