Flr (M) 5 year route? - No decision letter

Post by Paute_people » Wed Sep 22, 2021 11:33 am

Good afternoon,

I applied to change from 10-year leave to remain to 5-year partner route.

I have a positive decision on my application via E-mail. It just said BRP was forthcoming.

I have had my BRP, delivered today. What I don't have is a decision letter outlining what route I'm on.

How/where do I contact the home office to get this important decision letter?

Has anybody seen this issue before?

Regards
Paute_People

Hi,

Yes application was FLR (M), and like I mentioned decision was confirmed via email, but no detail. We don't know If were now on the 5-year route and we have no contact information of who to call or E-mail.

regards

FLR(M) if granted without any issues is the 5-year route. Get an SAR to be sure: https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... mmigration

Topic moved to the correct sub forum and heading changes to accurately reflect the query.

Your email is the decision notification. FLR M is ONLY a 5 year route.

Thank you Zimba, that sounds reassuring, The SAR is a good idea as well. I'll look into it.

And thank you CR001, If that's the case though how difficult would it be for the HO to write that we are now on 5-year route? A few extra words on an E-mail are surely not too tricky!

Thank you for your time, It's reassuring to know that people like you are willing to share their expertise.

As mentioned above by CR001, you have been granted under 5 years route. Many people have not been getting decision letter compare to previously and if your application was granted under 10 years route, it is a must the caseworker to inform of you this including the reasons.
My opinions should not be constituted as an immigration or legal advice.
