UK Dependent visa duration on application

HI. My spouse is in UK from Jan 2019 on Tier2 Gen visa. Valid till Jan 2024. I am applying for PBS Partner visa now in Sep 2021.
There is a question which says 'What is the length of spouse's Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS)?'

What is the correct answer for this. As I am concerned, based on this visa payment or IHS charges will be deducted? I do not want to pay unnecessarily for 5 years, as the duration left is only 2.5 years.

You cannot choose what to to state.
You need to state the duration of the CoS as it asks.

I have the similar situation, When I fill the end date of visa which is written on my CoS for my dependent, IHS cost 6 months more than main applicant cost, Can I refund this 6 months fee later?
