Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS)

Post by Theresa2022 » Mon Oct 04, 2021 1:43 pm

Hello,

I got my UK student visa September, 2021. I paid for 12 months IHS. My course started in September with no online classes and the university said it was too late to attend face to face so I should defer until next year. I have not travelled to the UK as yet.

I applied to another university for a course that will start in January 2022.

Do I need to pay for IHS again? The new course is less or equal to the duration of the IHS I paid for.

You have to pay again.

IHS is not refunded if your visa is granted but you do not travel.

You will not get a refund if:

your visa application is successful but you do not come to the UK
