I haven't received any mail for more than 7 months. Do you think I should try different ways about my application?

I submitted my application a little before you on 12th Jan 2021 and had my biometrics on the 28th of the same month. I, like you, have also not had any emails except a reply to when I escalated back in July. I have been waiting endlessly now and am honestly getting very agitated. On my last call to them, I was told I would hear from them within 15 working days. When I called on the 16th working day, they said they will escalate again and to wait for another 15 days to hear from them, although it would be sooner than later because this was a second escalation. It’s the 8th day today and still no word from them. It’s driving me insane, honestly. Would love to find out if you get an update at all.

"Thank you for your recent correspondence. I can confirm we have received your client’s application and we aim to reach a decision as soon as possible. It may be necessary to write to you again to request further information.
FLR(FP) applications are not currently subject to a service standard, each application is considered on its own merits and supporting documents provided. We are therefore unable to provide a timescale for a decision. Please be assured you will be contacted in due course with either a decision or a request for information."
Yes, this process is really annoying.
I'm paranoid about refreshing my mailbox everyday

I asked my solicitor to submit a fee waiver he said its better if I paid the fee because a decision will take 6 months. I applied for fee waiver it was granted on 08/10/2021.
I currently have recourse to public funds on my current leave. How do I renew my leave to remain and get public funds again. Do I have to apply for public funds again?
