Lost my BRP need help.

Post by ZainUlllah07 » Wed Oct 13, 2021 8:23 am

Dear all

I have lost my BRP on 21/09/2021 and reported it the same day online within the UK. I am trying to apply for a replacement but online it only shows standard service available. I want to pay extra so I can get decision in 5 working days as I need to travel back home on 23/11/2021. If anyone can on how to find faster service option?

Many thanks.

There isn't a faster option.

If you don't receive the replacement BRP before you leave the UK, you will need to apply in your home country for a single-use BRP visa in order to get back to the UK. Then when you get back to the UK you need to apply again for a replacement BRP.

You may prefer to postpone your travel.

Thank you for your response. I will postpone my trip. Do you know anything about documents that I need to provide on the day of my biometric appointment.
Mandatory document it says;

Proof of Address:

You must include proof of your identity in the form of documents confirming your name and address, such as:

*your UK driving license
*a council tax statement
*a utility bill
*a bank statement
* a letter from GP containing your name and address

My question is, do I need to provide all the document above or one or two should work?

Thanks

I also lost my BRP. And I need to apply online within 3 months. Can you please tell me how much you paid for the replacement card?
Thanks

You can call UKVI for an escalation if you need to travel urgently. That is what I have done but to be honest they haven't actually managed to speed anything up. I keep being told to wait 72 hours for an email and when I follow up after the 72 hours has passed, they tell me to wait another 72 hours. So nothing has really come of this yet for me but you could try it. Let me know if it works for you
