Dependent travelling with spouse - asking for passport number

Post by usmanj » Wed Oct 13, 2021 8:39 am

Hi all, so I'm helping a family friend apply for his wife's spouse visa and had a question. He has applied for his son's British passport from overseas (in Pakistan) and wants to submit his wife's spouse visa application too. However there is a question about dependents travelling with the spouse. When we add the dependent, it asks for the dependent's nationality and passport number (he doesn't have a passport yet as they have applied for British passport).

Would it be best to wait till the baby receives his British passport or could we just put down that no dependents are travelling with the spouse?

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

The baby would need a travel document otherwise s/he wouldn't be allowed to board a plane. This can be either a British passport or a Pakistani passport with a UK visa.
