English requirement

Is English certification required for switching from Tier 2 to skilled work visa ? Also previously english requirement was already met when applied for tier 2 vsia and worked for couple of years in english environment in uk.

You will be awarded 10 points for English if you have been granted Tier 2 (General) leave after 6 April 2011.

thanks for the response however could you confirm this please as per my understanding this is not required separately if you have already having met the requirement in a previous grant of leave i.e. based on my previous successful tier 2 application. Refer this link page 9
