Overstayed effect Naturalisation Application

Post by SBASCO4 » Fri Nov 05, 2021 1:53 pm

Hello Everyone,
Please need some information any advice & information

I was overstayed from 2011 to 2015. In 2015 i got married and applied for residency Card, application took 2 years and i got Residency Card on end of 2017 but now I have ILR

Now MY Question is
My solicitor told me i can not apply for Naturalisation/Nationality until i not have my 10 years legal record in uk.

Is that true? I heard after 1 year ILR you can apply but Solicitor told me different.
Anyone have same experience or have some information please? Thanks
