Dec 13th 2021 ceremony after 2.25 years

Post by Domrep2011 » Sat Nov 13, 2021 2:59 pm

Hello after applying late august 2019 , we finally received the good news of being accepted for naturalisation ceremony on Monday 13th December .
We have a vacation booked mid january , we are wondering does anyone have any idea of ....How long approximately to receive Irish passport .... if applied for , straight after ceremony ?

There is a first time passport thread here, but if you want to skip all the complaints in that thread, the question answer is that there is zero chance you would be able to get it before end of Feb, even if you apply on the day you are naturalised.

congratulations on the approval. After applying for a FOI, I got an email yesterday from INIS saying that I am also approved, finally! That said, I still don't have the letter and I am out of Dublin. Do you mind sharing more details regarding the ceremony (local and time) and the list of documents we need to send to be able to participate? I want to ensure once I get the letter, I have everything ready.

thank you
