Tier1 Visas per year

Does anyone know how many Tier1 visas as issued per year for all countries.

there is no restriction as of now. there is no qouto system on uk tier1 so far.

Do you want the figures per country issued for say 2007? You would have to trawl through the internet for that or send in a FOI to UKBA.

Or do you think there are so many allowed for a country - then that is not the case as the previous post states.

The country with the most HSMP issued is currently India.

Yes, I was looking for the approximate number of visas issued per year. It can be 2006 or 2007.

I will see what information I get from work. No doubt someone has gathered up the figures in our stats mad organisation. I am certain there will be something but more than likely not split down in the PBS tiers or sub tiers as a bit early in the sysyem for that.

PBS will not feature until the 2008/2009 report. It will be 2009/2010 before the full impact is known as this will be the first full year of operation with all tiers open.
