Child born in UK

Post by safdari_peyman » Sun Dec 05, 2021 1:13 am

Hi
I live in the UK with a Tier 2 visa and my wife with a dependent Tier 2, my wife joined me two years later.
Our baby will be born in the UK before we get ILR. Can I apply directly for my child's citizenship when I receive ILR or will my child be subject to a mother's visa.

Many thanks for your help

If born in the UK, then child will be entitled to register immediately after a parent is granted ILR.
