My world, don't tell me that you've not received your certificate since you got your approval?
I received the certificate several months ago. But still it is nice to be invited to celebrate it, even virtually.

Hi All,

I paid the fee on the 23rd of November 2021 and I posted the signed declaration on the 24th of November 2021; received on the 25th of November 2021 (An Post tracking).

From my understanding the online status usually moves from Submitted to Processed. Did anyone receive their certificate without the online status moving to Processed?

I know the approval letter stated that it could take up to 6 week for the certificate to be issued, but I am hopeful that I will received before Xmas. :)

I paid mine on 16th Nov, Sent declaration on 17th. My fees went from Submitted to Processed on 25th Nov. I am also hoping that I might get the certificate before Chritsmas, due to the fact that they were planning to invite me to 13th Dec ceremony (which got cancelled), so I just hope I could get it around 13th Dec :)

I just got an email that my application fee has been processed. Whoop whoop! So it took +-7 working days.

There is perhaps a real chance that I will get my certificate before Xmas. 8)

Hello,

I received the approval a couple of days ago (I submitted the application on 29-02-2020) but unfortunately when I tried to submit the Citizenship Certificate Fee Payment today, the online system didn't seem to work. I had issues first with registering and then with paying the fee. The payment didn't go through and I tried with two different cards. Then when I tried to log in again, it didn't recognize my account even though I had been able to complete the draft application earlier. Has anyone else experienced issues with the online system? Thanks, F.

Wow , that's a good news ..gives some hope that 'few' application of around end of 2020 and 21 start got approvals.

Do you know, were there application based on non EU or EU citizen and 5 residency or spouse application? as I believe they are looked by different applications

I applied in Aug 2020, there was no communication from department so I requested FOI in last week of Sept 2021. The request for FOI was approved and got the FOI details on my application in Oct 2021. According to FOI my garda vetting was done in Feb 2021. In Nov I sent email to Department to update me on my application status and got following reply.

Your application for naturalisation continues to be processed in the normal
way with a view to establishing whether the applicant meets the statutory
conditions for the granting of naturalisation. If further documentation
and/or clarification of any matter related to your application is required
from you, we will write to you requesting it.
Due to the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 Pandemic and the attendant
requirement to comply with public health guidelines, unprecedented delays
are being experienced. In line with Government guidelines, the number of
staff attending on-site has been increased but health and safety
restrictions remain on the total number of staff members allowed in the
office at any one time.
During this period the focus of Citizenship is on the general processing of
applications and in particular those applications 2 years or more in the
system. It should be noted that Citizenship Division continued to process
applications throughout the Pandemic. New applications will be dealt with
as soon as circumstances allow.
Your continued patience is appreciated.
Kind Regards
Citizenship Helpdesk
Team 3

FYI, my application is based on Non EU, 5 yr residency (Stamp 1 and 4)

What are you thinking of doing following your FOI request (which has been completed), and the response from Team 3?

Thank you ali2019 and amolbawate that information is very helpful.

Curious, does anyone know if there is a simple way to know if garda vetting is done on our application without going for FOI? Thanks.

Not sure what to do next as they mention those applications 2 years or more take priority.

This is the email: citizenshipinfo@justice.ie

Just don't get your hopes up, i.e. don't expect a useful or prompt response :)

Hello Dub23
congratulation you received your certificate
I paid 950 euro fee and completed the online form also sent the affidavit form back on 12 of January,
so my question is that how and where to know the status change from submit to processed,
million thanks

Thanks!

You have log in to your INIS Online profile (where you paid your fee) and then open your submitted payment application. The payment process is split into different steps and on the last step it indicates the status.
