If you entered the UK illegally, then yes.

Do I need Life in Uk test for ILR as a refugee?

Post by nihad » Thu Dec 23, 2021 4:32 pm

Hi all

I’m applying for ILR after 5 years leave to remain

It’s not very clear whether l need life in UK test or not?

Also for supporting documents:

Finances
Proof of Business
Life Events
Medical Information

May l have an example of each what sort of document do l need to upload for above 4?

Many thanks

As Vinny said, you do not need LIUK for ILR. However, you would need to pass English B1 SELT and LIUK both if you plan to apply for Nationality in the future.

Yes. You may take the LIUK whenever you are ready for the test, as there’s no expiry date. But there may be a two years expiry date on the B1 test. So there’s no rush until you are ready for Naturalisation.
