Schengen visa to Spain for Spouse (sponsored)

Hello guys,

I am going to be the sponsor for my wife's Schengen tourist visa (Spanish). I am a British Citizen. The checklist on BLS says I need to provide a notarised sponsor letter (translated) and my employment letter (translated). Expensive process but what can you do. There is no mention of our marriage certificate. Though it is in English does it need to be translated too?

Any help and tips from people who have already applied would be great!
