Schengen tourist visa when travelling to Italy for work

Hello, my partner (non British passport holder) has active Schengen Visa which was issued for tourism purposes. Can she go to Italy for short term (less than 10 days) to attend the work meetings? Or will she require a new visa application for this purpose? Thanks very much

Yes she can use it.
