Family based immigration

Post by chriss8 » Sun Feb 27, 2022 10:51 am

I have a family based immigration in progress for myself and my family. My father is US citizen he is the sponsor.
My priority date is 2016 September.
By remaining on the F3 preference category I could expect to wait another 8 years or even longer.
Based on this I am thinking if we can do something which is essentially to game the system to speed up the process.

We get divorced, I get green card by F1 category very soon since my date is nearly current, I sponsor the kids and they immediately get green cards.
I remarry my wife in the US and petition for a green card for my wife, the process is many years quicker than otherwise.
Is it feasible or has anyone heard anyone try to do anything like that?

Thanks
