BRP with invalid NI number

Hello everyone,

I am on tier 2 general since 2018 and received the BRP and NI number on BRP is invalid but we never noticed it.

Later I was issued with new NI number and employer updates the payslips using the number. Few days back we noticed the NI number error on BRP.

What should I do now? As it delayed more than 3 months to inform it home office. Please let me know what would be consequences?

Should I inform over the online correction link? And if so how long it takes to receive BRP and again should I take biometrics appointment?
