Cancelling and Rebooking Appointment

Cancelling and Rebooking Appointment

Dear Members,
Instead of Passport surrender certificate appointment I had booked OCI slot for this month.

I am trying to cancel this slot and rebook. I have emailed to the address they have provided to cancel but they have not yet. and the system is not allowing me to rebook the appointment as it already booked.

Can I still go and do passport surrender application during OCI slot?
What are other options ?

Dont cancel ... simply book another appointment, it usually doesnt allow to cancel.

Does the system allow to rebook when an appointment already exist?

It does not allow me.

Yes it does if service selected is different, as in two different appointments for surrender of passport and OCi are possible.

Others on this forum have done that.

Surrender of Passport appointment would take your Latest Indian Passport Number, whereas OCI would require British Passport Number
