All advise will be much appreciated

Have you done your application yourself? If so, which form did you use?

Thanks

Yes I did by myself. I used FLR FP. Applied in July 2021. Fee Waiver took 2 months. So I knew I was going to have to wait a while. Hoping to hear by May as that is when it is 10 months. 🤲

Hey vini81

It took about 4 weeks both fees got accepted filled the form uploaded documents but it says I don’t need to submit finger prints? Or do I still book an appointment ? We did spend more then 90 days abroad will that effect ilr?

Hello,

So you got approved? Congrats!

From what I can understand, you are not allowed to be away for more than 90 days(or three months) in a space of 12 months. So if you are on a 10 year route, that's 7 months and a half for each 2.5 years.

You have 10 days to apply. When did you get a decision for the fee waiver?

I'm not quite sure about the super priority because if you claimed you couldn't pay for the fees as you probably couldn't afford them, how come you have enough money to pay for the super priority fee? Depending on the number of applicants, let's say you are 3x, that's £2400 for all of you. This would be enough money to part pay for the fees. It's hard to know how HO analizes your affordability but I would think twice before paying for super priority.

Please note I am not saying that you are not allowed to, this is just my vague interpretation but I could be wrong. It would be great if someone with more experience in this forum could shed a light on this matter.

Best wishes
Many UK immigration categories impose a requirement that the visa holder must not be outside the UK for more than 180 days in any 12-month period — that is, if the person wants to apply for indefinite leave to remain. Joanna and Nath have explored the 180-day absence rule

Hello Wahid2022,

As you can see from the person who mentioned about the 180 days rule(or condititions) for ILR, you are not allowed to spend more then 180 days away within each 12 months period. I also read this when searching for this topic. It seems it does not apply for FLR but it does apply for ILR.

You can just google it and you'll find more information on this matter.

I'm not quite sure why you've not been asked to provide your Biometrics as with my application, they mention it's part of the process and that I would need to book an appointment for biometrics.

As always, I'm not an advisor or a solicitor, please do some research on this topic because it does seem the 180 days conditions for ILR still stands.

Best regards

Ordinarily FLR(FP) takes long, now factor in the delays which conveniently HO is getting a repertoire of reasons for.

It shouldn’t take 11 months and counting… the Home Office really doesn't care about individuals life’s in the same scenario has me! This is would of been my third Extension! But hoping I will be granted ILR under the new “Concession to the family Immigration Rules for granting longer periods of leave and early indefinite leave to remain” I’ve met all the Criteria!!! Which I’ve outlined to the Home office!!

Hi all. Guess what lol..

Home office have yet again changed the processing times today from 10 months to 11 months. 😡😤 This is just getting ridiculous. I don't understand why it's taking so long. It only requires a thorough look at each cases paperwork. If you can't decide in a week atleast 1 month would be enough. But 11 months is just insane. How do they decide super priority in a few hours blows my mind.

31 March 2022

Average decision wait times for applications for leave to remain as a partner, parent or on the basis of your private life (10-year routes or 5-year parent route to settlement) updated from 10 months to 11 months.

So that means, I should be expecting a decision very soon. Because I’ve reached my 11 month! I will keep everyone here, update with any changes to my situation. Tell HO to stop moving the goal post!😡

Hello,

This is indeed unacceptable and someone must do something about it.

I've read this article about delays and I encourage you to read it through and maybe consider using a solicitor to deal with them about your delay.

I need a decision as soon as possible! My Partner is 7 months pregnant and we need a larger accommodation ASAP! We are actively looking for a mortgage, which is extremely difficult without an up to date biometric card! I’ve outlined this to the Home office they simply don’t care! I ain’t looking for no hand outs or Benefits! I’ve payed my visa and NHS cost, plus saved up for a deposit on a house lol. This totally unfair and unjust! But they wanna talk about “Human rights”🤣 Home Office wanna see us failing and struggling due the Position they have placed us in! #Never

Individuals and families facing this bullsh*t gotta be mentally strong! I encourage everyone here to keep strong, never lose hope are Crumble!💪🏿
