EU holiday on a spouse visa?

Hi guys

I seem to always venture back to this board for those who hold the fountains of knowledge! My husband is on a spouse visa & we’re looking to go on an EU holiday in March. His 2.5 years visa expires in September so we have enough time.

My research suggests he needs a Schengen visa.

However my husband is of the opinion that if I am travelling with him as a British citizen, he can claim entry into the eu country with me - I’m sure due to brexit this is not the case anymore.

Please can someone clarify?

He needs a Schengen Visa.
