First Time Passport Application Timelines - 2022

March 9th, 2022-Naturalisation certificate received
March 9th, 2022- Online passport application made, documents requested sent via An Post
March 10, 2022- Application received

Estimated date of issuing: May 5th, 2022

My questions are...
1. For those who applied in 2022, how long did it take to get your non-Irish passport/supporting documents back?
2. Did your esimated issuing date ever get pushed back? I am to go on holiday later in May, my first time out of the country in two years.

Documents delivered: 04.02.2022 (according to An Post tracking)

Tracker has also not been updated since my documents were delivered (as of 17.02.2022). I have contacted the passport office via chat and have been told that they have received my documents on 07.02.2022 and my application is now being processed with an estimated date of 13.04.2022.

I think there is an issue with the tracker now that it does not get updated but the application is being processed.

Status: changed to alert 23/02/22 asked for another proof of address from different source .
Sent requested docs on 24/02/22
Status changed to verifying 01/03/22
Got my original passport and docs back on 04/03/22
New estimated issue date : 14/04/22

Your application is being processed (Note: I contacted webchat April 20th to ask what's the craic and was told my application was at the end stage. Without me asking, the customer service representative said since my passport/verifying documents were no longer needed, she'll put a request in for it to be returned. Got all documents back the next day)
