India visa requirement

Hello all,

Recently I got my British passport and my supporting documents are yet to receive from HMPO. I have to travel India for my cousin wedding next month. Can apply for Indian visa without surrendering Indian passport ? Reason for asking this question, the earliest possible date for surrendering Indian passport is falling under 2nd week of May.

Not sure is it mandatory document for applying visa.

Can someone give your suggestions or guidance me here in this situation.

Hello Baji15, kindly share your experience. Did you manage to get Indian Visa without surrender certificate?
