Still waiting for the Home Office's approval letter it was a long and very frustrating journey thanks to Allah Almighty for his blessings I was losing hope with every passing day.

Response stated that my application was approved on 06 June 2022 and I should have received an email with receipt of approval. Responsed back thanking for information and confirming that no approval email has been received. No further response received despite sending multiple follow-up emails.

Date of Ceremony: 12 July 2022. First available date booked by council automatically. Date changed to an earlier paid private ceremony (£70.00).

After 6 month i recieved email from HO on 08/06/2022 .

We aim to process all applications within 6 months from the date submitted. However, in certain circumstances this target is not possible. Following our assessment of your client’s case unfortunately it appears your client’s application will not be processed within the 6 month target.

This is because it is taking longer than usual to process applications because of coronavirus (COVID-19). This will not affect the decision. We expect to make a decision on your application as soon as possible, but we will write to you again if this is not going to be possible.
