As far as I know they send you a postal letter with a NVB 1 form, you fill it out, send it back, they email you a link to e-vetting some time after.

It should be noted that Citizenship Division continued to process applications throughout the Pandemic. New applications will be dealt with as soon as circumstances allow. They should've sent acknowledgement letters instantly then they could put the processing stages for later on. I still don't know if they will accept my application or not. There is no way for me to ask a question, provide a documents etc. for my application because I don't have an application number at all.

There is no guarantee that everyone will be approved at the same time. While it took 2 years for 2019 applicants to get approved there were some cases that took 3 years or still going on. Practically, they can take it as long as time they want and don't have to disclose any reasons to you. What you can do is after 2 years take JR route.

but on 17th May, 2022, Minister of Justice replied in tabular form (quite Important) by showing how many application received and processed from 2017 to till now in monthly data
According to which 12929 applications are pending.. Which seems quite contradictory because there is difference of 14005 applications
