British Citizenship for 12 year old

Hi,

My daughter is 12 years old and got ILR since 2014. She got Indian passport.

I'm a British Citizen and got UK Passport. My spouse is got ILR since 2014 and got Indian passport.

We are planning to apply for British Citizenship for our daughter.

a) Which the right form to use
b) What is the right fees ( i see £350ish and £1000ish online).
c) How long it usually takes to get the Citizenship.

Hi,

Follow up question. We are planning to travel to US in Jan 2023. Just in case if we haven't received the British passports on time. Is there any other alternate ways to travel to US like any temp passport or getting a letter confirming UK Citizenship?

Thanks for your quick response.

Registering child as British Citizen and applying for British Citizenship for Child - both are one another same?

Its the same thing. You are applying to register the child as british.

alright. any benefits of father being British Citizen while applying for child's British citizenship like less fees / faster process etc?

Not really no. Each application is decided on its own merits. There is no reduced fees for citizenship applications.
