Can I travel from a non-EU country to EU country A with residence permit of EU country B

I will be flying home to India for summer break in a couple of weeks. I have a Swedish Student Residence Permit, and need to fly to Germany in August for a conference. Can I fly to Germany directly from India with my Swedish Residence Permit, or do I need to enter Sweden first?

I would appreciate any answers and sources (tried finding but couldn't).
