Dependent Visa extension - Urgent

Post by ashish68 » Fri Jul 01, 2022 11:06 am

Hi All,

I am on Tier2 Dependent Visa (PBS LEAVE TO REMAIN) and it is going to expire on 28th July 2022.
My wife switched her visa to ILR from TIER 2 GENERAL after completing 5 years in the UK. I have lived in the UK for around 2 years and 10 months.
Now I need to apply for extension but not able to understand which route to follow and apply under which category so that I get an extension of 3 years and after completing 5 years I can apply for my ILR.

Any help would be highly appreciated!

Kind Regards,
Ashish

PBS Dependent visa extension.
thanks. but which application. If you could please help.
I started with the below under PBS dependent extension but not sure if this is the correct form
Link removed as contains personal information.

It says TYPE OF VISA/APPLICATION: Dependant Partner
and
the below questions which confused me
>>>>>>>>>
Has your spouse or partner applied to work or study
in the UK? Yes
Is your partner in the UK now? Yes
Was your spouse or partner in the UK when they
applied? Yes
What visa have they applied for? Skilled worker
Has your partner been informed they are eligible for
a Health and Care visa?
No
Immigration adviser details
Are you using an immigration adviser based in the
UK?
No

My wife has not applied for skiller worker. She applied for ILR but there is no option to select ILR.

It's correct
Hi, I'm also in a similar situation. I gave Yes to 'Has your employer agreed for financial maintenance of your dependant' when applied (because in CoS it was there) and also gave 'Yes' to the question 'Was the main applicant outside the UK when they applied for a visa' (because I thought she was outside the UK when she applied her first visa). Will this be a problem?

I haven't attached a CoS (because my spouse has applied for ILR) and neither an employer letter. But in the consent form, I managed to get her employer's sign.

Thanks in advance. J
