Guidence on working after CoS expiry

Hi All,

I am switching jobs and VISA from Tier 2 ICT to Skilled Worker. My Tier 2 ICT CoS is expiring on 13-Jul-2022 and BRP expiring on 27-Jul-2022. I was expected to leave the UK and work offshore but I was lucky to secure a sponsor to switch to Skilled Worker. My new employer has issued a CoS from 15-Aug-2022 (which is their joining date) and got my Skilled Worker VISA approved on 30-Jun-2022 (Awaiting BRP). My last working date with my current employer is 05-Aug-2022.

Can I continue to stay in the UK after 13-Jul and serve the notice period till 05-Aug?

You can stay in the UK. I am not sure till what date you are allowed to work. Your employer must have informed UK Home office for compliance that you are not working after a certain date. Ask them as well.

It would be very helpful to many of us, if you could post the timelines.
