First of all I suggest to carefully read through the official Tier 1E visa guidance to understand the route. It has some complexities and you need to be prepared and aware of them: https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... trepreneur

When you want to work in the UK, you generally need a national insurance number to pay taxes and other contributions. When you apply, you are often ask to attend an interview at the job center. That is all
See: https://www.gov.uk/apply-national-insurance-number
Also register for self assessment: https://www.gov.uk/log-in-file-self-mule ... f-employed
2- did some one recommend a company to get Import and export license or help at setting up the company legally ?
You need to register a company or register as self employed within 6 months of entering the UK :!:
Most of these can be researched and done online with ease. You may also seek professional help for specialised sectors like export/import
Register a company online: https://www.gov.uk/limited-company-form ... ur-company

tier one candidate doesn't accomplish the 6 months residency coz of cornovirus

Post by ibrahim1980 » Thu Sep 24, 2020 2:24 pm

Hello All , i hope all are doing well .

I am here at UK after getting entry clearance at Sept. 2019 over tier one entrepreneur visa , Just stayed for 10 days and make another visit at Dec. 2019 for one month and back home to arrange my self for long term residence at UK , when returning back to UK at 19th of February 2020 , COVID 19 starts to be more invasive and i left UK at 27th of March 2020 as i have a family and have to take care of them at this time .
also , complete lock down starts and there was no flights to travel any where until July 2020 .
Now , i am coming back to UK at 5th of Sept. 2020 , one year without any productivity , one year from the total period of the permit which will be expired at Dec. 2022 .
the problem here not only the productivity but also i do not stayed here for 06 months at the first year .
no news from the home office regarding this issue up to now .
does any one experience the same situation and how to solve it at the future during renew of the residence permit ?

Thanks for All and my hope for all to be safe at this time .

Please don't start a new topic for each question. Post all your questions in this same thread.
Your being away for this period is not a problem by itself.
But hopefully you have registered a company or become a director or registered as a self-employed person within the 6 month period. You did not necessarily have to be physically in the UK for that.
You still have time to meet the extension requirements before Dec 2022.

There is no requirement that you spend a min of 6 months in the UK. Again it seems you not to understand the rules. The continuous residence only is required if you wish to apply for settlement after 5 years and if eligible. You may need to extend your visa more to complete 5 years of residence for ILR.
If you want to extend, you must have registered as self-employed or company director within the first 6 months.

1. There is no Tier 2 visa anymore

It is almost close to 10 months since the majority of the covid travel restrictions have been lifted in the UK. What have you been doing in the last year ?? If you have visited UK for only short periods and have no functioning business, then there is a possibility that your BRP can be cancelled at the border if you return. To get a skilled worker visa you need a sponsor and a job offer from that sponsor
