Start Work with new employer before receiving new BRP

Hello Team,

I have recently applied for Skilled Worker (Change of Employment), and it was successful, I received the approval emails, however, I still didn't receive my BRP.

1. Can I start working without the BRP, as the approval email has the expire date of my new granted leave?

A. If yes, should I provide any further documentation? Or is the email sufficient?
B. If no, would it be OK to start later than the work start date specified in my CoS?

I think leave would have started prior to the issue of a delayed BRP. However, a delay creates other problems, such as demonstrating rights to work, etc.

Perhaps the new employer may perform right to work checks?

What does it mean? BRP is must for starting working with new employer? Right to work might require BRP or equivalent document (passport) to provide eligibility I think?

Right to work needs to checked online whether you have BRP or not.
