Hi,

One of my referees is aged 25, I know the guidance says over the age of 25, but would the person being 25 okay?

Post by paranoidman » Wed Aug 24, 2022 10:48 pm

Hello lovely people,

I have now applied for my naturalisation / BC, and need to gather the doucments.

For "Proof of living in the UK", is my passport sufficient?

Thanks for your help

If your passport was stamped every time you entered and left the UK, that is enough to prove your residence. If not, you will need letters from employers/P60/letters from government departments.

Hi

Can one of the referee be your employer?

and

Does the applicant need to be in employment for a successful outcome of a naturalisation application?

Thanks

Hi

Can one of the referee be your employer? Yes - if he qualifies to be a referee.

and

Does the applicant need to be in employment for a successful outcome of a naturalisation application? No - economic activity or lack of it is not relevant for the application.

Thanks
