Hi

I am a ILR Holder set to expire in 2024, initially i was in Tier 1 General (PBS). My MRS who was my dependent is now naturalised and become a British passport holder along with my 2 kids.

I am planning to apply for my naturalisation.

I am filling in the AN form
I have completed and passed my life in the UK test in 2014
I have continuously lived in the UK for 13 years with no Gap of more than 30 days in a year
I am planning to write a English test - (PTE-B1: PTE Home B1) from Pearson
Good character

Do i need to upload anything else, such as my degree certificates or payslips etc... I have had some parking fines which i have paid..

You only need your passport [covering the eligible period, ILR BRP, English test and Life in UK + 2 references. Nothing else is needed].

Thank you, for the answer. I am now ready to apply. I am filling a AN form and its asking me to complete 10yr work history. I can only remember for past 8 years, what should i do? and for a couple of years in my early stages in 2014 - 16, i worked 2 jobs . Please can you advise.

If i apply for my naturalisation and during the process my employer changed what should i do. I know there is a section in the MN form where they ask your employer details for 10 years?

When i applied for ILR in 2014 and was granted same day i did it as a in person in croydon (tier 1 Gen PBS) and i had MBA (India) + IELTS , IELTS Is now expired so i am happy to write a B1 exam no issues to make it easy.

In the form its asking for all education details again, and should i upload all education documents again (MBA)

I dont want to overboard all info again.

You should be filling in form AN - MN1 is registration of under 18s .... Once you have applied for naturalisation there's no need to advise change of employment. Employment as such is not a requirement for naturalisation.

If you had to supply proof of English for ILR after 2013 you can use that as evidence - don't think another test is necessary - you select the correct option. You also need the Life in the UK test if you didn't take it then.

As far as I know the form only asks about English and LITUK, not education in general - see above.

I they fall within one of the professions deemed acceptable - see page 25 of the guidance:

In my 15 years of working in the UK, I have a gap in my NI due some less paid jobs i did in 2013, Will this be an issue or should i pay it voluntarily and close the gap. I hear that for good character you need to his sorted not sure how true that is. Help would be appreciated.

Hope you remember me you have been advising me since my Tier 1 days, thank you so much. My wife and my kids all British now. I thought to go for it this year. Thank you - slightly nervous.

Thank you again for confirming that no issues with my NI. I am just waiting for my English test certificate from trinity to be posted. I got the provisional result yesterday AA (Distinction)

ILR obtained in May 2014 and been in continuous employment ever since and have lived here permanently

This is not an issue. There are no specific financial requirements for naturalisation (income,taxes/NI,benefits, etc).
You do not need to make voluntary contributions - they are just that, voluntary, if you want to boost your state pension.

Final point i want to ask is

I came to the uk in 2006 in working holiday maker, i was here for 13 months, i then went back and applied for a Tier 1 general visa and obtained in 2007 and arrived in 2007.

What is my first date of entry in UK 2006 or 2007?

This will be the date on which the continuous residency on which what you are applying for currently is based.

Hello all,

I have applied for my naturalisation last week, today i suspect i was speeding a little when i was dropping the kids to school and there was a mobile van for speeding. I am not sure whether i will get a ticket and that is considered a offence and i should inform HO if i do? Please could you advise its a painful 2 week wait to know.
I have never had any points on my licence nor i received ever speeding ticket.
