Returning Resident from Canada

Having just applied for my Returning Resident Visa from Canada,after having my ILR lapse ( out of country for more than 2 years )how quick to I have to return to the UK once the visa is granted? Can anybody help with the answer as it would help in the planning of my return back to the UK. Thank you.
