Hello Everyone,
My wife passed her IELTS at CERF level B which is the required grade with the following
speaking 6.0, Reading 6.5, Listening 6.5, Writing 5.0. Overall Band score is 6.0 at CERF level B
My wife application for a MOR was refused on the following basis....
I have awarded you 0 points for the English language requirement because you are required to show you have an English language ability of at least level B2 on the Common European Framework of Reference for languages in all four components (reading, writing, speaking and listening). I therefore refuse your application under paragraphs MOR 4.1, MOR 8.1
Paragraph MOR 4.1. of the Immigration Rules states that you must score ten points for English language ability.
Paragraph MOR 8.1. states that you must have English language ability on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages in all 4 components (reading, writing, speaking and listening) of at least level B2.
Pls advise, I'm confused why the application will be refused despite scoring 6.0 overall. Pls help.
Regards
Mr John
