IHS Refund on Tier 2 (Skilled Worker Visa)

Hey guys

Hope you are doing well and safe!

I have a question regarding a refund of IHS from the home office. I have been working in the UK for about 1.5 years on a 5 years of visa sponsorship (IHS was paid for 5 years). Now that I have quit my job and moved back to India on a permanent basis. I was just wondering if I could get the refund for the remaining period of my sponsorship, if so, then how can I go ahead with the process? Your help would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately, as you left he UK permanently before the end of your visa you will not get a refund of the IHS paid

This is very unfortunate as I am on the edge of losing quite big bucks. Are there any alternatives you can suggest?

Not quitting or finding another sponsor were alternatives.

The applicability of refund of IHS clearly spelt out.
