PBS dependant extension

Post by tejalondon » Sun Sep 25, 2022 2:38 pm

Hi,

could some one help decipher this for me ?

My wife is on tier 2 PBS dependant, and has been on it for 2 Year(initial) and 3 year(extended) which is due by the end of october 2022.

Although in principle she is eligible for ILR, we have spent more than a year outside the UK during covid ( March 2020- Sep 2021) for reasons beyond our control.

I am on a ILR since 2018, which visa for my wife would be the best possible outcome for us to apply. Can we apply for another PBS dependant extension, so the clock won't reset ?

New ILR dependant application ( would reset the clock)
PBS dependant ( is this route still valid, given i am on ILR)

Please let me know. thank you.

If you got ilr based on 5 years tier 2, then she continues to extend her current visa on the skilled worker dependent form. It will be a 3 year extension.
