Applying for Wife ILR application

Post by msohaib25 » Fri Sep 23, 2022 2:37 am

HI All,

I am applying for my wife ILR application, she has completed her 5 years back in april 2022

Which application should i use?

Fees is approx 2404?

How long they are taking 8 weeks or 6 months in general?

She has done IELTs and life in UK test, what else documents are required

Entry/exit stamps
Absence dates data
Should i show my payslips and employment letter if she is not working?

Once she get ILR, would she be eligible for passport straight away, I got my british passport in 2018

I would appreciate your advices

Regards,
Sobi

Use form SET(O)
The current immigration fees topic is pinned to the top of the forum. Check that.
She needs to have passed SELT at B1 or above plus LIUK
Her ILR has nothing to do with your employment, so no need for employer letters or payslips
Once she gets ILR, she can apply to naturalise as a British citizen immediately using form AN1. Once she attends her citizenship ceremony, she can apply to get a British passport
