Please advise , British naturalisation while Irish naturalisation pending

Dear sirs,
I need you advice and guidance which I really appreciate.
I have an Irish naturalisation application pending for over 19 months now as Irish spouse . ( from NI).
I now also meet the requirements for uk naturalisation and am seriously thinking of applying but wondering how that will impact my application with INIS.
Do I need to notify INIS if I make the application and if so at what stage for example after applying or when approved ?

They are two separate matters. There is no dependency or effect of any sort between the two.
