Hello,

Hope you all are well, I am a bit stressed about the renewal application I made online on the 30th of Sep. I chose an incorrect option while submitting the form for my stamp 4 renewal and I never got any payment link. I got the acknowledgement email from IRP for renewal price it says 'fee waived' that's when I realized I made mistake in the form. I have been trying to reach the immigration over email and haven't got any response so far. I applied almost a month ago and my employers have started to follow up on it too.

Also to note I lost my IRP card a few months ago, so I did mention that in the form's general comments and had attached the lost report I made from Garda.

I am not really sure what to do at this point. Has anyone experienced this issue before and share your thoughts? any advise is also helpful.

See the latest article here: https://www.irishimmigration.ie/isd-ann ... christmas/

"To facilitate Non EEA Nationals legally resident in the State who are required to renew their current permission and who wish to travel internationally during the Christmas period, the Minister is issuing a Travel Confirmation Notice requesting carriers to allow individuals to travel on their recently expired IRP card where an application to renew their IRP card was submitted in advance of the expiry date of their IRP card."

Current expired permissions are valid for 8 weeks past expiration (if you applied before it expired) to accommodate for the estimated 6 week processing time and 2 week postal service/to receive the IRP Card.

https://www.irishimmigration.ie/notice- ... -irp-card/

But, the Dublin registration renewal is saying they are just now only processing applications submitted the week of 14/11/2022.

https://www.irishimmigration.ie/registe ... al-dublin/

This would mean they are behind in processing by 10 weeks not 6 as well as not including the 7-15 days to receive the card. Can we expect there will be an amendment/further extension to 12 weeks?

I would doubt that; you can apply 3 months in advance, so 12+6 weeks would be a reasonable timeframe to process the request.

They post a decision week now on the website - https://www.irishimmigration.ie/registe ... al-dublin/
ISD are currently processing applications for renewal submitted from week starting 21/02/2023.
I'd suggest 9 weeks? 6 to get to the application, 1 for approval, 2 for delivery
